Yesterday, a gunman opened fire on a vehicle at an Oregon intersection killing one man and setting off a police chase which ended in the gunman being killed.

According to reports, the suspect randomly fired at least six bullets at a car at a Hillsboro intersection killing Danny K. Le Gore who was a passenger in a vehicle.

Le Gore, 56, was rushed to a local hospital where he died.

Police officers chased the gunman who crashed his vehicle at a downtown intersection.

After the crash, the gunman ran less than 100 feet, firing at officer before he was hit by their return fire.

Authorities said no officers were hit in the shootout.
