British police are searching for a teenager who recently converted to Islam.

The parents and friends of Sarah Dunn said the 14-year-old girl had become obsessed with the Koran just before she disappeared on September 28.

Sarah, who had gotten into an argument with her parents over her decision to study the Koran just before she went missing, was last seen in the town of Wellington.

 Police say that although there is no evidence that Sarah has some to harm and she left under her own free will, at the age of 14, she should not be “out there on her own.”

Detective Inspector Jon Roberts said they are “appealing to the Asian community who may have a white female associating with them.”
