Suspect to be named in '81 Adam Walsh slaying

More than twenty-five years after the death of Adam Walsh police in Florida said they are ready to close the case.

A press conference is scheduled for 2:30pm today with Hollywood police chief, Chad Wagner and John and Reve Walsh, Adam’s parents.

Florida police are expected to name Jacksonville, Florida drifter, Ottis Toole, as the man who kidnapped Adam from a Sears’s department store while he was playing a video game in Hollywood, Florida.

Two weeks after Adam disappeared, his head was found in a canal about 100miles from where he was last seen.

Toole, died in prison in 1996, but prior to his death, he confessed twice to authorities about being the killer.
