Jim H. Liu, 43, an auditor for the IRS, pleaded guilty to cheating on his own taxes.

Liu, who audits taxpayers in Diamond Bar, California, admitted to claiming a loss on a real estate transaction when he actually received a large profit.

In 2002, Liu sold a house in Pomona, California and made a profit of $48,000, but  reported a loss of $4,200 on his taxes.

He pleaded guilty to one count of subscribing to a false tax return, and faces three years in prison.

His loss cost the government more than $14,000

THIS IS FUNNY, YOU FIGURE AN AUDITOR WITH THE IRS WOULD KNOW HOW TO CHEAT THE GOVERNMENT, AND NOT BE CAUGHT.
