Jack Tweed, the widower of Big Brother (British) star Jade Goody, appeared in court today on charges of raping a young woman.

The 22-year-old man, who became famous after cameras followed his dying wife last March, was arrested at his home in northeast London on Friday after an unnamed teenager made a complaint to police.

It is believed that alleged crime took place at Tweed’s home early Friday morning.

Tweed married 27-year-old Jade Goody shortly before her death from cervical cancer
