Brooklyn is truly becoming the place to live.

Comedic actor Jim Carrey is rumored to be buying the penthouse in the Clock Tower building downtown Brooklyn.

The 7,000sq-foot apartment inside the converted factory first came on the market in 2009 with an asking price of $25million and after no offers; it was reduced to $23.5. They eventually reduced it to $19 million.

The apartment, which has three floors, comes with 16 to 50’ ceilings, a private glass elevator, a 14’ glass clock face that frames views of Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges and a dining room that that hold a 60foot table.

The DUMBO apartment is this year’s Esquire magazine designer bachelor pad.

The Clock Tower factory was built in 1914 and converted into luxury condos in 1998 by David Walentas of Two Trees Management.
