Joshua Beasley arraigned for killing his wife Alaina Beasley

Was it a deadly game of ‘good guy or bad guy?’ Or, was it premeditated murder?

21-year-old Joshua Beasley turned himself in to Lincoln, Nebraska, police hours before prosecutors had planned to charge him with manslaughter.

Beasley, who is being arraigned today, killed his wife of 10 weeks by pointing a gun at her and pulling the trigger.

Alaina Beasley, 20, died last Sunday from shotgun wounds at Lincoln hospital.

According to Beasley, he was pretending to clear the couple’s apartment of an intruder, so he pointed the gun at his wife, and pulled the trigger.  According to him, she pretended to have a gun also.

According to the murderer, he did not know that the gun was loaded.

Was it an accident, or was it murder?
