Judge Cinda Fox was stabbed by a defendant, while he was testifying

A defendant stabbed a judge in a Stockton, California, courtroom today.

David Paradiso, who was on trial for murdering a woman, was on the witness stand testifying, when all of a sudden he got up, reached over, and stabbed Judge Cinda Fox.

Paradiso was then shot and killed by a sheriff’s officer, who was in the courtroom.

According to eyewitnesses, a second unidentified person wearing a juror’s badge was wheeled out to ambulance.

Authorities are not sure how the defendant got the weapon into the courthouse
