Paula Abdul’s comments this week about “American Idol” adding fourth judge, Kara DioGuardi, to the show was a bad idea, did not sit well DioGuardi .

“Paula has a right to her opinions, but I was disappointed by her comments, and hurt that she did not address them with me in person,” DioGuardi said.

In the March 9, copy of OK magazine, Abdul told the tabloid that “Idol” tried a fourth judge during the second season, but she quit before the show aired. “Kara and I get along great, but this is business.” Abdul said.
