Kenneth Brant accused of raping and prostituting his adopted children

An Ohio father is accused of raping three of his four adopted children and allowing other men to have sex with them.

Kenneth Brant, of Troy, was charged with three counts of rape and one of compelling prostitution.

Police say Brant was arrested during an online sting in which he arranged for an undercover officer to have sex with his 10-year-old adopted son.

During an interview with police, the boy told officers that Brandt had raped him and his other siblings, two boy, ages 9 and 12.

Records show that Brandt adopted the children in 2011 from Texas through a private agency.  That adoption agency is currently under investigation.

Two other men, Jason Zwick, 29, and 31-year-old Patrick Rieder, were also arrested.

It is unclear whether Brandt’s 9-year-old adopted daughter was also raped.
