Kevin Lee killed in late night drunk driving accident

Charges are pending against an 18-year-old New York City man whose 22-year-old friend died in a single vehicle accident last night.

Authorities said the teenager, who has not been identified, was drunk when he smashed his Nissan Atlima into a pole around 11:15 p.m. Monday night on Webster Avenue.

Kevin Lee, who was in the backseat, was rushed to Montefiore Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

The driver and his 23-year-old front seat passenger were taken to Jacobi Hospital.

Their conditions were not available at press time.
