The hit-and-run driver who took the life of fifteen year-old Monika Skrzypkowski has been identified as 17 year-old Kevin Schuh of Mount Prospect, ILL.
Last Saturday night, Skrzypkowksi and her friends were crossing the street when alleged drunk driver seventeen-year-old Kevin Schuh struck and killed Skrzypkowksi then fled the scene.
Witnesses were able to describe the vehicle Schuh’s was driving to the police and within an hour of the accident, Schuh called the police notifying them that his car was vandalized.
When Officers arrived at Schuh’s house, they realized the car fit the description of the car that was involved in the hit-and-run accident. Schuh admitted to consuming seven beers and a vodka drink
Schuh was arrested and charged with aggravated DUI with great bodily harm and reckless homicide. Bond is set at $500,000.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a Trackbackkevins 13 year old brother has this used against him everyday. i love his brother. and no one views the inncodent from his familys point of view. i respect the Skrzypkowski’s, but i also know the expirience of the schuh family. it got so bad that the daughter in the family had to go to school with a body gaurd after the accident, because people threatened to kill her.
