A 13-year-old New York City girl was killed Saturday night when a SUV ran over her while she was sitting on her front stoop with friends and relatives.

Witnesses said when Kira Goddard saw the Range Rover coming in her direction, she bellowed to her younger sister and friends sitting in front of their Brownsville home to get out of the way.

Unfortunately for Kirra, she could not get out of the vehicle’s path in time to save her own life.  She was pronounced dead on the spot.

Police said the driver of the vehicle, Sean Lewis, also from Brooklyn, was driving to a hospital when he lost control of his vehicle around 10:15 p.m.

Witnesses told police Lewis, who was stabbed in the torso, was driving west on Pacific Street near Saratoga Avenue, when he ran into three parked cars.  He then backed up into another parked car before flipping his vehicle over. As the luxury vehicle overturned, it landed on Kira.

Forty-four year old Lewis was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital, where he later died.

It is unclear how and where Lewis was stabbed.
