Senator Stevens is still maintaining his win over Democratic challenger Mark Begich. With over ninety-nine percent of the precincts counted, crooked politician Senator Stevens holds a 1.5 percent vote advantage over Anchorage Mayor Mark Begich.
With a difference of about 4,000 votes between both candidates, it could be weeks before we know who the clear winner is, but it looks like crooked Stevens is going to win.
If he wins his re-election, Stevens will be the first person ever to be re-elected to the Senate after being convicted of a crime.
Well, I guess 2008 elections will go down in history as having the most “first” in America.
