A 21-year-old Florida father was arrested for scalding his 5-month-old son’s skin with hot water.

Laydon Barfield Jr. told police he accidentally scalded his son’s skin when he was giving him a bath.

Authorities say the water was so hot that the child’s skin came off his back.

Barfield was arrested on Monday and he is scheduled to appear before a Seminole County judge on Tuesday.
