A 19-year-old man was injured at Disney’s California Adventure Park last night after falling 25 feet over a rail, authorities confirmed.

Police said the teenager was waiting on a second floor line for the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ride, when he climbed over a railing and allegedly told friends, “Wouldn’t it be funny if I fell.”

The man, who police said had been drinking alcohol, fell 25 feet from the landing.

The teenager, whose identity has not been released, was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center, where he was treated for some abrasions then released from the hospital.

Doctors said he did not break any bones.

The Tower of Terror, which was opened in 2004, is a ride that brings visitors to the top of an elevator shaft, and then drops them.  It is the tallest building in the Disneyland Resort at 183 feet.
