Last Sunday Senator John McCain said it has been several years since his campaign manager Rick Davis was involved with Freddie Mac.
Well, according to insiders, a company that Mr. Davis owns (Davis and Manaford) received $30,000-$35,000 a month from 2005 until recently. But, after the Homeownership Alliance that Mr. Davis had formed was dissolved, Mr. Davis asked to stay on a retainer, so Freddie Mac drew up a new contract with ‘Davis and Manafort’ at a reduce rate of $15,000 a month
Insiders also said that Mr. Davis was kept on the payroll because of his close ties to Senator McCain, and he did not do much work for the money he was receiving.
It is believed that Mr. Davis received a total of about $500,000 in payments from Freddie Mac. IT MUST BE NICE TO KNOW PEOPLE IN HIGH PLACES; I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT LIFE WOULD BE LIKE FOR MR.DAVIS IF McCAIN BECOMES PRESIDENT.
