A freelance photographer, who took pictures for local NY newspapers pleaded guilty today to taking a picture of himself having sex with an underage girl, however, he claims it was all in the name of art.

During an investigation, authorities seized 74 images from Michaelangelo Pinzon’s laptop that depicted him having sex with underage girls in Colombia.

Initially, Pinzon, 34, denied having sex with the 11-year-old girl, but after being pressed by a Brooklyn Federal Judge, he admitted to having intercourse with the Colombian child.

In 2006, Pinzon received a citation from then-City Councilman Hiram Monserrate at a Colombian Independent Day ceremony.

I am not surprised that Monserrate honored Pinzon; after all, men with criminal records like to be around each other.
