Mid Summer Night’s Gala

No need to go to East Hampton or Saint Tropez anymore to attend one of ‘P Diddy’s “ALL WHITE” parties.  Last Saturday night the “Q’s” brought the “All White” party to Connecticut.

Omega Phi Nu Fraternity held their annual fundraising last Saturday night at the home of Gary and Marilyn Ford in New Canaan, CT.  Over 325 people paid $75.00 (I think they could have easily charged $175.00 and get the same turn out) to celebrate a ‘Mid Summer Night’s Gala’ with the ‘Q’s.

Special guest DJ Biz  Markie (yeah, the same Biz Markie who had the 80′s hit “she said he’s just a friend”, had people dancing to everything from old school rap like Sugar Hill Gang “Rappers Delight” to new joints like Ray-J’s “Sexy can I”

What a beautiful event, 325 people mostly dressed in all white clothing looking absolutely marvelous in the Ford’s lawn was transformed into a scene from “The Great Gatsby”.  There were cabanas around the pool and couches and ottomans spread throughout the yard.  The pool house was transformed into a NY City upscale bar, with servers who were dressed in the “Q’s” color PURPLE.

I partied until the wee hours of 2am.  Yeah, after mid night some of us changed into swim suits went into the hot tub and the pool. 

As you know ‘The Diva’ keeps it real and tells you only the truth so when ‘The Diva’ says this party was a 10, you better believe it was.  The rumor is they are doing it again next year in the same spot so continue to read “The Greenwich Diva” for information on the next party.
