A 47-year-old Canadian news reporter and radio show host who had been missing in British Columbia was found safe Friday night, officials said.
When Lydia Neufeld failed to show up at her family’s cabin in British Columbia on Thursday night, authorities displaced a search and rescue team for her.
Neufeld, who was last seen buying gas around 5:30p.m on Thursday, had gotten stuck in a three feet snow bank and told authorities that she dug herself out with her hands.
Const. Jamie Parson told reporters that “the lady was found safe and in good health and she was well-prepared with food, warm clothes and bedding.”
