A woman who had been reported missing since Tuesday was found stabbed to dead in the trunk of her car in North York, Canadian officials said.

Forty-four year old French teacher, Consuelo Valencia-Russo, who went by the name Connie, was last seen leaving her home around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday for a hair appointment.

Shortly before her body was found, her 14-year-old son Nicholas told reporters, “I miss my mom.  We need help to find her.  This is not like her.  We are worried.  If you know something please call the police.”

Nicholas’ father, city councilor Cesar Palacio said Russo was “a wonderful woman and a great mother.”
