Wall Street VP Tara Obenauer wrote a letter to her ex-lover’s wife, Sharon Tedesco, telling her that her husband, Mike, led her to believe they were getting a divorce.

In the letter, which she posted on Facebook, Obenauer wrote:

“My children and I were completely mislead by Mike’s words and his actions….I know, unfortunately, this is not a new road for you to walk down,….Again, I am terribly sorry — I have been in your shoes some 10 years prior and made the painful but wise choice to leave.”

“I would not have gotten involved with Mike if I knew the situation between the two of you as I know it today. Unfortunately, I believed his story…..He told my lawyer in court that I was to blame for all this, he claimed I was the one who pursued him and I was doing this because I still wanted him. He’s sick.”

Original story

A married 43-year-old Long Island, New York, police officer is facing disciplinary actions for spending time with his mistress while he was on the clock.  That same mistress is now seeking an order of protection against him.

During a hearing for the protection order last Friday, mistress Tara Obenauer told the court that her former lover, Nassau County Police Officer Michael “Mike” Tedesco, who is being investigated by Internal Affairs, had rookies cover for him while he spent time with her and her children at their waterfront home in Massapequa.

“He was cheating on the county, and he was cheating on me, and he did the same thing to his own wife and children,” Obenauer said.

Obenauer said one day when Tedesco was at her house she asked him why he wasn’t out working and he told her “I’ve been doing this for 22 years…let the fucking newbies chase these kids from their parties and go to the house alarm calls.”

The whole mess started after one of Obenauer’s neighbors told authorities that Tedesco’s police cruiser was always in Obenauer’s driveway between 7p.m. and 5:00 a.m.

Obenauer said she was shocked with an Internal Affair investigator contacted her on February 9, and told her that her lover was a happily married man with no plans to leave his wife and children.

Obenauer, who is a vice president of a global financial firm, said Tedesco called her one day during the investigation and asked her what she told Internal Affairs.

She said after telling him she was honest with them Tedesco screamed at her “You fucking tell them that I’m just a friend who stops by once in a while.”

She said now that she is cooperating with Internal Affairs investigation, she is afraid that Tedesco will retaliate against her.

Obenauer estimated that Tedesco spend more than 300 hours during his 10 hour night time shift at her home. The love affair started in July 2011.

Tedesco, who has been suspended, has since filed for retirement.
