FDA: There was a frog or toad in Fred Denegri’s can of Diet Pepsi

The Food and Drug Administration confirms that either a frog or a toad was in Fred Denegri’s can of Diet Pepsi.

Pepsi spokesman Jeff Dahncke says the company is aware of the testing and stands by its manufacturing process.

Florida couple, Amy and Fred Denegri said the awful taste that Fred experienced while drinking a can of Diet Pepsi was that of a dead mouse sitting at the bottom of his soda.

The Food and Drug Administration is now investigation how the creature got to the bottom of the soda can.

According to the couple, they were enjoying an evening of steak and soft drinks at their Ormond Beach home last week when Fred tasted something “funny” in his Diet Pepsi.

“He made a face.  I was sitting there and he said it tasted awful and something wasn’t right,” Amy told a local news station.

The couple poured the can onto a plate and discovered the disgusting creature.

The couple said they bought the soda at a Sam’s Club in Daytona Beach, and according to Pepsi, it was bottled in Orlando.

After hearing the disgusting news, Pepsi contacted the couple and according to a spokesperson for the company, there have been times when someone opened a can, left it on the table and at that point, something crawled in.
