Authorities in New York City said an unknown assailant walked up to the manager of a Caribbean restaurant in Queens late last night and shot him to death at point blank range.

A witness told police Neville Brown was seated in his parked car speaking with a female friend outside the Cozy Corner Jamaican Restaurant on 243rd Street in Rosedale around 10:30 p.m. Friday, when the suspect, wearing all black, walked up to them and shot him several times in the back of the head.

The suspect then fled the scene without saying a word.

Fifty-six year-old Brown, who had a criminal record for selling marijuana, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrest has been made.
