In a request for a restraining order against her rocker mother Courtney Love, Francis Bean Cobain told a California court that her mother was responsible for the deaths of her pets and was hooked on prescription drugs.

In the court document, which was recently turned into an e-book, Cobain said her dog died after swallowing some of her mother’s pills and her cat died after getting entangled in trash, boxes and piles of fabric.

In the December 2009 deposition, which is now in an e-book from TheFix.com in partnership with Barnes and Nobles, Cobain said that her mother “basically exists on Xanax, Adderall, Sonata, Abilify, sugar and cigarettes.”

In the sworn testimony, which was filed after a physical altercation between mother and daughter, Cobain said her mother, rarely eats, she often falls asleep in her bed while she is smoking, and I am constantly worried that she will start a fire (which she has done at least three times) that will threaten our lives.”

Cobain, who recently became engaged to rocker Isaiah Silva, said that her mother was constantly slamming doors, breaking things and stomping around hotel rooms and “spends hours on the phone yelling” at other people accusing them of “fraud.”

Cobain, whose father was Nirvana’s front man Kurt Cobain; eventually left her mother’s home and moved in with her paternal grandmother Wendy O’Connor.

The teenager’s father died of a drug overdose in April 1994.
