Fourteen-year-old Kailee Martinez was rushed to the hospital after the police chief of Tucumcari, New Mexico tasered her in the head.
According toMartinez’s mother, Stacy Akin, she had drove her daughter to the local police station to settle a dispute she was having with the teenager over a cell phone.
While they were at the police station, Police Chief Roger Hatcher said Martinez ran out of the station and as he was running behind her, she started to head into oncoming traffic and he tasered her in order to stop her from getting hit by a vehicle.
The teenager received several stitches to close the wound in her head.
