New York police arrested Jayden’s mother, Myrna Chen Phang and her boyfriend, Steven Dadaille and charged them with murdering the 4-year-old.

Police said the couple beat Jayden with their fists, a clothes hanger and a belt after getting angry with him.

On Friday, Jayden’s father, Mackenzy Lenescar was questioned by police then released.

The senior Lenescar told reporters he felt something was wrong with his son hours before he was rushed to the emergency room.

“I kept calling.  I felt it,” Lenescar said.  “I said, ‘Let me see my son,’ and his mother said ‘he’s sleeping.’ But I knew he wasn’t. I knew it.”

New York police are questioning the father of a 4-year-old boy after his son died at a Brooklyn hospital on Friday.

Jayden Lenescar was rushed to Kings County Hospital after his mother; Myrna Chen Phang called 911 around 2:30 Friday afternoon.

According to reports, the child was unconscious and covered with bruises when EMT workers removed him from the home he shared with his mother and grandmother in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn.

He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Jayden’s death was ruled a homicide and police are questioning his father, Mackenzy Lenescar, who recently separated from the child’s mother.

Relatives say the boy’s parents were having “issues” and Phang had recently taken out an order of protection.

“They were having problems in their relationship, but nothing to do with the baby,” Jayden’s aunt Marie Helesca said.

Family members say Jayden spent every weekend with his father who lived in the same neighborhood and Phang.
