The Los Angeles County coroner’s office identified the deceased as: Kristin Melissa Young, 21, of Chino; Maya Louise Culbreath, 24, of Rialto; Gregorio Mejia-Martinez, 47, of Huntington Park; Ester Delgado, of unknown age, from Huntington Park; Leticia Ibarra, 42, of Huntington Park; and Jessica Jasmine Mejia, 20, of Huntington Park.

Young and Maya Culbreath died at the scene; they had been riding in a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro driven by a suspected drunk driver, Olivia Carolee Culbreath.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Culbreath had a previous DUI conviction and, a week before, had restrictions on her license lifted.

Police in Southern California have identified the woman who killed six people early Sunday morning while driving the wrong way on a Los Angeles freeway as Olivia Carolee Culbreath.

Authorities say 21-year-oldd Culbreath was driving a red Chevrolet Camaro in the wrong direction on the 60 Freeway near the Phillips Ranch Road Exit in Diamond Bar when slammed head-on into an Ford Explorer before hitting a gray Ford Freestyle.

Four people in the SUV were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other people were killed in the early morning accident but authorities did not say which vehicle they were in.

Culbreath, authorities said, survived the accident but she is currently being treated at Irvin Medical Center for a broken femur and a busted bladder.

She faces felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter charges.
