It is believed that Anjool “Jools” Malde committed suicide after he feared he would lose his job after playing a prank at work, where he pretended to be one of his clients.

According to sources, Malde, pretending to be his client, posted a message on the client’s website saying, “I am hot, I am hot,”

His client, who works for Brevan Howard a hedge fund company, did not see the humor in Malde’s prank and made a formal complaint to Malde’s company.

According to reports, Malde was referring to his client’s successful investment run.

It is also believed that Malde had been using his work email to send messages related to his other business AlphaParties.

Original story

A British stockbroker who was concerned about losing his job threw himself from an eighth floor rooftop restaurant.

A few days after his 25th birthday, Anjool Malde committed suicide by jumping from Coq d’Argent restaurant.

According to reports, last Friday Malde was told by his boss at Deutsche Bank to leave work early pending on IT investigation.

Malde, who also co-founded AlphaParties and posted on his website “living the dream”, graduated from Oxford University at the age of 20, and was planning to celebrate his birthday with a big bash tomorrow night at a smart bar in Central London.

Former co-workers of Malde said that the young entrepreneur was upset after Deutsche Bank deleted his Bloomberg account, which allowed him to talk to other bankers and gave his access to the stock market.

On his website, Malde claimed to have started a number of online businesses including AlphaParties, a company that organizes social events in exclusive areas of London.

A spokesperson for Deutsche Bank confirmed that Malde was asked to leave work at 3 last Friday, but declined to go into further detail.
