A Florida woman on a plane from New York City to the Caribbean was escorted off the aircraft by police after she began singing and refused to stop when she was asked to by airline staff.
As Caribbean Airlines Flight BW501 was taxing on the runway at JFK on Friday, Marsha Ballantyne, who was on her way to Trinidad and Tobago, began belting out some tunes very loudly.
According to reports, airline staff asked Ballantyne several times to lower her voice but she “became belligerent” and continued with her singing.
The pilot taxied back to the gate, where officers were waiting for Ballantyne.
She was not arrested, but Ballantyne was re-booked for a later flight.
No word on whether Ballantyne was singing Carnival tunes, mentally preparing herself for her vacation.
