A flight from Munich to Washington D.C was forced to re-route to Boston after a fifty-three year old passenger complained about flu-like symptoms.
A spokesperson for United said Flight 903 was re-directed to Boston after a female passenger told flight attendants about her symptoms.
Once the plane landed in Massachusetts, the unidentified passenger was taken off the plane and transported by ambulance to Massachusetts General Hospital.
The aircraft, which was carrying 245 passengers and 16 crewmembers continued to its final destination.
