Paul Benedict aka Harry Bentley passed away at his home on Martha’s Vineyard

 Paul Benedict who played Harry Bentley, the english neighbor on “The Jeffersons” passed away on Monday at the age of 70 at his home on Martha’s Vineyard.

Benedict, who is American, not British as most people thought, started his career in the Theatre Company of Boston in the 1960′s.  He was also the ‘Number Painter’ on “Sesame Street” and appeared on stage and in movies with Robert DeNiro, Dustin Hoffman and Al Pacino

Cause of death is still under investigation.
