Phoenix woman attempts suicide broadcast over the Internet, survives.

The boyfriend of a 23-year-old Phoenix woman attempting to commit suicide over the internet saw the unbelievable scene unfolding in front of his eyes and called the girl’s house to alert her family.

According to reports, the girl was in a chat room talking to her boyfriend via a Web cam when the boyfriend said he wanted to move on with his life and he was leaving her.

Thinking that her life was over, she tried to hang herself from the ceiling fan in her family’s home, while the boyfriend was watching on the web cam.

He called the girl’s father, Mohamed Hossain, and told him what his daughter was doing, and the father immediately rushed downstairs and cut the girl down from the fan.

The girl is expected to live.
