Nude model Kathleen Neill was arrested yesterday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for posing naked.
The 26-year-old model from Brooklyn was working with nude photographer, Zach Hyman when a female security guard stopped her.
“Everything was going perfect until the very end,” Hayman said. “Then it became a worst-case scenario.”
This is the first time that a model was ever arrested since Hyman started shooting nude models in NYC.
Neill was charged with public lewdness and was released on a desk-appearance ticket.
Hyman said he was not sure what the big deal was with having a nude woman at the MET.
“Why is this wrong?” he asked. There were thousands of people in the Met today looking at nudes as art, but as soon as there is a real nude, it’s a big problem.”
Less than two weeks ago, Hyman shot models stripping in a NYC train.
