President-elect Barack Obama to meet with Senator McCain

 President-elect Obama and Senator McCain are meeting today in Obama’s transition headquarters in Chicago. I wish I could be a fly on the wall, but since I am not, I can only speculate on what the two will be discussing, like everyone else.

Even though Senator McCain exercised poor judgment by picking Gov. Sarah Palin to be his running mate, I would like to see him play a key role in Obama’s administration.  Not sure what that position should be, but I do believe if president-elect Barack Obama is to be successful at turning the economy around he will need to include powerful, smart and experienced Republicans like Senator McCain.
