President Obama and his family attended Valerie Jarrett’s daughter’s wedding

Laura Jarrett, the daughter of Valerie Jarrett, who is the senior advisor and assistant to President Barack Obama, tied the knot with her long time boyfriend, Tony Balkissoon, in Chicago over the weekend.

The wedding between Laura and Tony, who met while they were students at Harvard Law, took place Saturday evening in Valerie Jarrett’s home in the Kenwood neighborhood of Chicago, which is a few blocks from President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama’s private residence.

Amount the invited guests were President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, their two children, Sasha and Malia and Mrs. Obama’s mother, Marian Robinson.
