Poor Rielle Hunter, first she couldn’t get a real publisher to publish her scandalous book about her affair with former presidential candidate John Edwards, so she ended up with a small boutique firm, AKA a publishing company that’s about two steps above a self-publishing company, then John dumped her, now poor sales has forced her to cancel future book tours.

Prior to her book being released, Rielle went on a media blitz appearing on shows such as ABC’s The View and CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight, however, because sales for the memoir where poorer than expected, all future book tours and anything else connected with the trashy book has been cancelled.

According to sources, Rielle’s book sold 6,000 copies, which was enough to put her on the New York Times best seller list, however, it was not good enough to cover the SMALL advance that she got from publisher Ben Bella Books.

According to Ben Bella website, most of their royalties and advances are in the $3K to $10K range, but they have gone to $100,000 “for particularly attractive projects”.

Wow, not a lot of money….but I am sure she’ll do OK with the child support money she gets from John.
