The former CFO of a holding company is accused of stealing money from the company to pay a hit man to kill his wife.

Raley Holdings LLC. is suing John Franklin Howard, of Carrollton, Texas, and JP Morgan Chase Bank claiming that 52-year-old Howard stole millions of dollars between 2009 and 2011 and deposited it into four Chase bank accounts in his name.

The company claims that Howard, who was the sole signatory at the company, formed several companies to manage its money.  It claims Howard abused those companies to siphon million of dollars from Raley account in Kuwait into four JP Morgan Chase Bank accounts in his name.

Raley executives did not realize Howard was stealing from the company until after he was arrested.

In documents that were in Tarrant County Court, the company claims that Howard used $85,000 of the stolen money to pay a hit-man to kill his wife Nancy, who lost an eye last month after she was shot in the face.

Police arrested Dustin Hiroms on August 24 and charged with aggravated robbery of Nancy Howard.  According to reports, a jailhouse informant had tipped off the FBI to the murder-for-hire plot, but agents didn’t tell local police until after Nancy Howard was shot.

It is believed Howard wanted his wife dead to be with his girlfriend in California.
