50 Cent has settled his case against the engineering firm that performed repairs on his Connecticut mansion.
In his testimony earlier this week, the rapper said, “I would not have purchased the property with $1 million worth of work to do. To be honest, I would not have purchased a house with $700,000 worth of damages. I would have felt I was living in a construction site.”
In 2003, he bought the 17 acres, 19 bedrooms, and 37 bathrooms house from Mike Tyson’s ex-wife for $4.1 million.
In 2007, the rapper put the house up for sale with an asking price of $18.5 million and last year he dropped the price to $14.5 million.
According to real estate agents, the house is no longer on the market.
The amount of the settlement has not been revealed.
Curtis Jackson aka 50 cents, is suing a Bloomfield engineering firm for work they claimed they did at his Connecticut mansion.
In court yesterday, the rapper said BVH Integrated Services told him in 2003 when he purchased the house he needed about $44,000 worth of repairs, but they sent him a bill for more than $2.7 million.
In court documents, BVH said the rapper’s claims are “fabricated” and while the work was being done, they did not receive any complaints from Jackson.
