U.S. Rep. Jim Himes will be one of four politicians to take on IBM super-computer, Watson, tonight on the TV game show “Jeopardy.”
Himes, a Democrat from Greenwich, along with Rep. Rush Holt (D-NJ), Rep. Nan Hayworth (R-NY) and Rep. Bill Cassidy (R-La), will go up against Watson around 7:00 p.m. at the Liasion Hotel in Washington, D.C.
According to a press released promoting the event, the idea behind the show “is to foster a conversation about how technology can positively impact society.”
Tonight’s event will be hosted by IBM research scientist Eric Brown, who helped develop Watson, and IBM’s vice president for governmental programs, Chris Padilla.
