A 45 year-old Swedish man has survived two months without food trapped inside his snow-covered vehicle.
The man, who was identified as Peter Skyllberg, was found in his vehicle on Friday by snowmobilers.
The snowmobilers told reporters that they had initially suspected that the car, which was parked at the end of a forest track about half-a-mile from a main road in northern Sweden, was wreck until they dug their way to a window and saw movement inside.
A weak and thin Skyllberg was found huddled in a sleeping bag on the back seat.
Skyllberg, who was taken to Umea University Hospital, later told authorities that he survived by drinking melted snow. He also said he had been inside his car since December 19.
Authorities said the temperature in the area had dropped to -32F.
Reports say Skyllberg had been depressed over a failed relationship and financial problems before he went missing last year.
It is unclear whether anyone had reported him missing.
