Reports: Trevor Bobocel killed his wife Roxanne Bigelow then put body in wood chipper

It is believed a 38-year-old Canadian man killed his common-law wife then made mulch out of her body by putting it in a wood chipper.

Police in Edmonton believe they found the remains of 43-year-old Roxanne Bigelow, who had been reported missing, however, they are waiting for the medical examiner’s office to confirm the identity of the body on Monday.

Trevor Bobocel, Bigelow’s common-law husband, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and committing indignity to a body, after police found Bigelow’s remains in a rural location near Lac La Biche.

Reports say Mounties arrested Bobocel near a burning car; however, it is unclear whether the car played in role in the crime.

Bigelow’s five children are currently being cared for by her mother. It is unclear whether Bobocel is the biological father to any of the children.

Ok first off, she’s not 43 she’s 34. Do you really need to say that he made mulch out of her body? The family is extremely traumatized by this whole ordeal and it is crass of you to word it in such a way. Trevor Bobocel was father to all the children except the oldest.

What kinda of writer would write a thing like that!!! Does it make a difference if Trevor was the father of her children or not. (which he was) Why not focus on the fact that we now have a grieving family, 5 beautiful children without a mother and friends and a community that are in shock! Roxanne was a beautiful person. My love and prayers are sent out to her family and her children. May she rest in peace.

This is a horrible tragedy for a family still reeling from other losses. The media certainly doesn’t help with their flippant reporting. God Bless and give the family strength in these dark and terrible times. Know that others are thinking of you with love.

It is unfortunate that you have not done your research well in regards to the Bobocel news.

Have you not checked other local newspapers in Alberta? At least most of those appear somewhat consistent. Yours . . . not so much. This family has gone through enough, they don’t need to have reports such as this posted as well.

I just learned about this horrible event, and I must say that I’m sick to my stomach from the deprave and sensationalized reporting! You’ve taken a tragic event and twisted it without any thought for who you might hurt. Claudette, you’re a bottom-feeder and I hope that I never meet you. Judging by the other articles on this site, I will never view it or recommend it, let alone bookmark it. You feed off of tragedy – ever think that one day you or your family might have to read the gruesome, twisted story of someone you love?

Im sick to just find this out I feel if you cant make it right dont say nothing at all Roxanne was a angel of god and she never deserved this ever. And all to pay will be her little kids who will never have a mother again. KILLED BY HER LOVE< Is this right or was god just there to save her?? I dont know I just hope that pieces of shit will die and rote in hell where he belongs.

Id like to set the record straight, Trevor Bobcel had 6 beautiful children… I should know I’m his 19 year old son Chanse Strauss my mother Terry Strauss was Trevor 19 yrs ago, and the news of this has completely shocked us, even though I never had the chance to meet my father we spoke briefly on the phone a few times befor this whole ordeal. I’d like the opritunity one day to meet my other siblings my respects go out to the family’s of this tragedy
