Police in Ontario, Canada are investigating the death of a former high school teacher whose body was found inside her Ancaster home Thursday morning.
Audrey Gleave’s death is being ruled a homicide after her body was found by a friend shortly before 11:00 a.m. Thursday.
Authorities believe the suspect was unknown to 73-year-old Gleave, who lived alone in her Indian Trail home in the village of Lynden.
Police are asking residents to be wary of any strange activities in the area.
Before retiring in 2006, Gleave taught at Hamilton’s Westdale Secondary School.
