Two people from Rhode Island were killed early Sunday morning when the vehicle they were traveling in overturned on I-95 in Connecticut.

Forty-six year old Terrance Bernard and 25-yearold Savannah Wakely, both from Woonsocket, R.I., were pronounced dead at the scene when the 2005 Nissan Altima they were traveling in rolled over in Westport.

The driver, 32-year-old Jamain Allen, of Bridgeport was taken to Norwalk Hospital and another passenger, 27-year-old Jennifer Shaver, also from Bridgeport, was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital.

Updates on their conditions were not available at press time.

The accident is under investigation.
