Robin Williams to play Susan Boyle?

A British tabloid is reporting that Robin Williams was asked to play Susan Boyle, the Scottish woman who became famous for her beautiful singing voice on “Britain’s Got Talent.”

“I have been asked if I want to play Susan in the movie,” Williams told the Telegraph. “I think she is incredible.  That clip of her singing on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ was extraordinary.  So inspiring.  It was quite a shock when she began to sing.”

In 1993, Williams play a woman in the hit movie “Mrs. Doubtfire,” a divorce dad who loses custody of his children and disguises himself as a Scottish housekeeper in order to see his kids.
