Three New York City women from three generation of the same family were killed over the weekend in a single vehicle accident on I-95 in North Carolina.

Reports say the women, 22-year-old Rosanny Marte, her 46-year-old mother, Angela Marte, and Angela’s 71-year-old mother, Rosa Marte, were returning to New York from a family trip in Disney World when the SUV they were driving in blew a tire. The 2000 Ford Explorer then rolled over.

It’s been reported that Roanny and Angela were not wearing their seatbelts.

Five other family members Angela and Rosa’s husbands, along with Angela’s two children and a nephew were transported to Pitt County Memorial Hospital, where they are still recovering.

It is believed that Rosanny was behind the wheel at the time of the accident.

Reports say the family all lived in a basement apartment on West 171st Street.
