Two Russian men were cooked to death after jumping into a pool that had accidentally been heated to a boiling point.

According to reports, the victims had just finished sweating in a steam room when they decided to cool off in the pool which was accidentally overheated.

During an investigation it was discovered that the pool was “overheated due to an error” made by one of the victims.

The accident happened on February 18, in the city of Kirov in central Russia.

A third man tried to rescue the men but the boiling water was too much for him to handle.

The men were only identified as directors of residential homes for the elderly and with psychiatric problems.
