No, it’s not the ocean it’s the world’s largest swimming pool.

The world’s largest outdoor swimming pool belongs to the San Alfonso del Mar resort in Chile.

It takes 66 million gallons of water to fill this baby, which sits along the Pacific coast in the city of Algarrobo.

The pool is so big you can a small boat in it.

It took about five years and about $1.5billion to build this monstrosity that needs a computer-controlled suction and filtration system to suck water in from the ocean at one end and another at the other end to pump the water out.

The pool is equivalent to 20 Olympic size swimming pools and 115ft deep (on one end).

It cost about $2.7 million a year to maintain this 20-acre swimming pool
