A Saudi Arabia man is scheduled to be beheaded and crucified for raping five children, aged three and seven, and leaving one, a three-year-old boy, to die in the desert.

Three judges in the northwestern oasis city of Hail, where the 22-year-old man, who cannot be named, committed the horrific acts, handed down the sentence.

According to reports, the convicted rapist was arrested while he was attempting to kidnap a 7-year-old boy by offering him a ride home from school.

Saudi Arabia has executed 56 people so far this year.

In extreme cases, such as this, the convict is executed and his body crucified in public.

Crucifixion means tying the convict’s body to wooden beams to be displayed to the public after a professional swordsman decapitates him.
