Secretary of State Hilary Clinton wears Mardi-gras glasses and beads to swearing in ceremony

Former First Lady Hilary Clinton is really showing the world that she has a good sense of humor.

Last May we saw photographs of the Secretary of State partying in Colombia, while she was there for a summit, and last night, she showed us that she is not always the uptight person we saw when she was a U.S Senator or the First Lady.

Mrs. Clinton was at the swearing-in ceremony for Mike Hammer when she decided to put on a pair of purple Mardi Gras-style sunglasses.

Apparently purple is Hammer’s favorite color, but Mrs. Clinton doesn’t have a purple pantsuit so this is how it went down.

While swearing in Hammer, who is now the new Assistant Secretary of Public Affairs, Mrs. Clinton took out a white box from behind the podium and drew out some beads, a ring and the sunglasses….in purple.

Too bad we didn’t get to see this side of Mrs. Clinton when she was First Lady or when she was running for political office…..
